Barnes MetalCrafters was established in the 1940s as a duct shop to support the local tobacco industry. The business grew and also supported the growth of Wilson housing.
Tim Martin acquired the fabrication business in the mid-1990s, and for several decades has been known in Wilson and Eastern North Carolina for producing quality custom fabrications for many different industries. The company outgrew its original location on Walnut Street and in 2019, built and relocated to a 25,000 square foot facility in the Hackney Industrial Park.

We utilize state-of-the-art technology with the most current Computer-Aided design software, a 6,000-Watt Fiber Laser, 4,000-Watt CO2 Laser, robotic welder, CNC press brakes, MD-4 Sander, and custom welding fabrication stations.
